Wiggles in the Mist
Fjaðrárgljúfur is a canyon in south east Iceland. The Fjaðrá river flows through it. The canyon has steep walls and winding water. It is up to 100 m deep and about 2 kilometres long. It was formed by progressive erosion from the glaciers above. This site has been loved to death over the years and thus Iceland has had to close it several times to mitigate the damage.
