St Basil's at Night
On our first night in Russia, we stopped at Red Square. St Basil's Cathedral is a must see with all it's color.
About to be Baptised
I had never been baptised so I figured it would be a place to remember in the cold Lake Baikal.
Coming Out of the Water
Getting dunked in Lake Baikal was cold. But what a place to get baptised.
At the end of the summer, twelve of us got baptised in Lake Baikal. The two pastors are with us.
Taking in the Sun
Taking in the sun in Siberia. Not as cold as you would expect.

Taking a break from ailing on the lake. These boats were used to fish off of during the summer.
Some fishermen going out. Very few motorized boats on the lake.
Last Light Fishing
Some fishermen were just finishing up their fishing at sunset. A nice night to be on the lake.

One of the fishermen getting his gear ready.
Family Camp Group Photo
Our first camp on the lake was the Family Camp. Here is the group photo with everyone. Many would come back throughout the summer.
One of the families at the camp had their young daughter with them. She was just learnign to walk.
A very photogenic little girl. Curious to what was going on.
