Dinner with Hood
Taken at our campsite on Mt Adams. We found a camp around 8,500 ft that had this excellent view of Mt Hood. Here is the view I had for dinner.
A combination of low clouds and fog around the base of Mt Hood. I liked how the sun was lighting up the mountain with some puffy clouds and hazy hills.
Sunset & Helens
Here is my climbing partner Casey's tent. All set up with a view to the sunset and Mt St Helens. It was an awesome sunset with oranges and purples over the top of the clouds.
Good Morning Neighbors
Our camp was a little above our neighbors just down the ridge. As I woke up at sunrise, Mt Hood was out with the morning glow.
Shadows & Fog
As the sun rose, it casts a shadow of Mt Adams on the foggy clouds. The hazy hills and Mt St Helens add to the appeal of this campsite.
Hood to Helens
Sunrise as we woke up on Adams was quite the scene. I tried to capture it all in this wide panorama. It starts at Mt Hood and finishes at Mt St Helens with the hazy hills and shadow of Mt Adams in between.
